Hongfeng Carbon Solutions is the global leader for machined graphite components. We offer a wide range of premium synthetic graphite's from suppliers such as POCO, Mersen, Toyo Tanso, SGL, and more. We can enhance isostatic graphite through resin impregnation and also offer molded graphite composite materials, carbon fiber, SiC coatings, PyC coatings, and produce exclusive glassy carbon (GC) and ultra-pure (<5ppm) vitreous graphite in-house. Our expertise in carbon and graphite materials allow us to provide ideal solutions with state-of-the-art machining and production capabilities.

The international business headquarters for Hongfeng Carbon Solutions is located in Hong Kong. We currently have two production campuses in China and Japan to help ensure diversified and stable operations. The Shanghai campus spans 32 acres and provides 20k sqm. (>215k sqft.) of manufacturing space that allow us to mass produce a wide range of components. The newest Tokyo campus commissioned in May 2025 provides 2k sqm (>21k sqft.) of production space and will further enhance our R&D.  We operate over 240 CNC and CMM machines along with dozens of automated 2D and 3D vision systems, ultrasonic cleaning, and 10k (ISO7) clean room.

A strong commitment to R&D and innovation has lead Hongfeng Carbon Solutions to hold over 70 patents. Our research department is continuously developing new materials to always offer the most advanced performance properties across a wide range of industry applications. Advanced Precision Machining

Advanced Precision Machining

Hongfeng Carbon Solutions provides advanced precision machining capabilities with 0.012mm (<0.0005") tolerance, and outer surface tolerance of 0.005mm (<0.0002"). Our skilled technicians operate over 240 CNC and CMM machines and can produce up to 500k units per month (globally) across many different product applications.

Our production facilities are climate controlled and use a centralized negative pressure dust collection system at every workstation to maintain a safe and clean environment.

While there is some variation between different product industries, all components undergo inspection from 2D and 3D automated vision systems, as well as manual inspections to ensure zero-defect. We maintain a culture of absolute quality.
Some products may under liquid and air pressure tests to ensure zero leakage, while others undergo ultrasonic cleaning and packaging in a 10k clean room environment.

Material Science & Development

Material Science & Development

Hongfeng Carbon Solutions holds over 70 patents and has a cutting-edge R&D department to develop and enhance materials that are always improving the properties of our products. We have a material testing lab and work closely with partners for advanced analytical techniques and analysis.

Our process capabilities include a "Volcanic Hardening Process" to create ultra-pure (<5ppm) vitreous graphite (VGI) and glassy carbon (GC) for the semiconductor industry and laboratory equipment. We also create special resins for graphite impregnation to enhance the performance of bipolar plates, and many other specialized composite materials.
